Red Rock High School, Verde Valley High School and Sedona Charter School. The exhibit will showcase music, poetry, sculpture and painting — each representing the students’ experiences as a bridge-builder. The exhibition will be followed by a Student Discussion Panel on March 15 at The Hub.
Adam Rubin’s student workshop, “Bridging Cultures with Empathy” is open for those between the ages of 14 to 22 on March 17 at the Hub. All ages workshop, “Healing the Wounds of History,” with Zoe Wild will touch on identity, empathy and transparent communication on March 13.
Join Kate Hawkes on March 11-12 for Performing Wellness, as she brings to life the stories of ten women through writing and live performance. Each of the ten stories is from women who participated in the Performing Wellness process back in 2000. Ms. Hawkes will introduce the audience to men and women who live with cancer, HIV/Aids, and war-related PTSD. These stories of everyday people will reveal, inspire and honor life.
The #Insecurities Performance Project, created by Mr. Pearl and Sarah Ann
Lesslie will bring original non-fiction narrative to the stage, with themes involving insecurities as imagined by a group of local writers and performers. This intimate performance will take place on March 18-19.

Flagstaff ’s First Friday ArtWalk March 4 offers a second glance at “Companions: Pairing Photography and Paint,” a collection of nude photographs by Mitch Tarr with their oil painting counterparts by Suzanne Stebila. The show opened at
12.12 studio in the Aspen Loft on February 12. It will go up again for one night only during the ArtWalk.
West of the Moon, 14 N. San Francisco, features the watercolors of Janek Keediniihii. His watercolors portray views of the San Francisco Peaks and Native Landscapes from different views, seasons and times of day.
Four artists will be featured in the window of the Artists’Gallery, 17 N. San Francisco, this March. The paintings of Mary Carter and Linda Russell will be displayed alongside the jewelry of Nancy Foo and the ceramic works of Natalie Reed-Goehl.
The Gallery In Williams celebrates National Youth Art Month with a display of art by local youth ages 1-18. The multi-media show will be on display for the month of March, with a reception on Saturday, March 12 from 5-7PM. The art is for sale and

“Rachel Lachowicz: True Colors,” a Contemporary Sculpture Exhibition will open March 1 at the Prescott College Art Gallery at Sam Hill Warehouse, 232 N. Granite Street. An artist’s talk will take place Friday, March 18 at 5PM, followed by a reception

The Women’s and Gender Studies Program at NAU celebrates their 30-year Anniversary this March with a week of lectures, discussions, celebrations and a performing arts variety show. “Gender and Difference on Stage!” will take place Saturday, March 5 at 7PM at Firecreek Coffee Company. Artists’ Coalition of Flagstaff is preparing for the 14th Annual City of Flagstaff Recycled Art Exhibition opening April 2. Now is the time to create something for this community art show utilizing recycled materials. The exhibition is in a much bigger space this year and can accommodate many more pieces. Entry fees are $25 for one piece, and $10 for additional pieces up to four per entrant. No fee is required for students under 18 years of age. Entries are due by Monday, March 21.
