ripples through the public’s reaction that will creatively and monetarily fuel the summer months. “There is no option except success,” Mr. Koscica states with resounding surety.
Mr. Koscica will be concentrating his ef- forts this summer in the arts and music festi- val rotation centered in California, with a fea- tured artist spot at the well-attended Light- ning in a Bottle. Mr. Baltutat will be spending time on the family land in Idaho with his grandparents, keeping his hands busy mak- ing ceramics and tending the garden. When the two will come back into alignment is yet to be determined; though like all cycles, it is inevitable.
The duo’s show at Firecreek Coffee Co is a must-stop during a First Friday orbit, 6-9PM April 4, 22 E. Route 66 in downtown Flagstaff.

paint what catches my eye or sense of hu- mor,” says the artist. “I like simple composi- tions and objects slightly abstracted. Living where I do I can’t help but be inspired by the high and wide spaces of the Colorado Plateau. The clouds in particular influence my sense of space whether I’m painting a mesa, a chair or an abstract. At the heart of it, I paint what makes me grin.” 111 E. Aspen Avenue, #2. GalleryOne13.com

Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra presents Jeans ‘n Classics, its season finale which pairs
the rock music of Blood Sweat & Tears, Chi- cago, and Earth, Wind & Fire. Says Conductor, Elizabeth Schulze: “This is the soundscape of my youth, so when I previously performed this show in Maryland last year, all of the music came rushing back with great ease and a joy of recognition and identification. What a great reunion! And the guys and gals of Jeans ‘n Classics are top notch musicians and absolutely give everything to their per- formance. They are true not only to the spirit of the music, but to its ‘sound’ as well. Get ready for a fantastic evening!” 7:30PM Satur- day April 11, Ardrey Auditorium. Flagstaff- Symphony.org
