Sedona has an inaugural event May 29 — June 1. You won’t want to miss this if you’re interested in matters that affect your journey in life! Illuminate Film Festival brings transformative films, speakers and workshops to Sedona for a healing experience for one and all.
Danette Wolpert, the Executive Director of Illuminate fes- tival says that “this kind of mind-body-spirit film festival is at the forefront of an exploding global conscious movement connecting the film industry to a growing, identifiable, inter- connected community of conscious consumers. While indus- try festivals currently exist for niche genres, one, surprisingly,
does not exist for mind-body-spirit. With conscious cinema on the verge of exploding, the time is now and the opportu- nity unparalleled.”
Be at the first event of this kind and join millions of oth- ers as they try to figure out “what the bleep is going on!” This selection of films hopes to show documentaries that not only raise awareness, but bust open our notions of how the world works as we self-re-discover through yoga, meditation, spirituality, body-mind space and organic plant-based food, learning how to “live” more sustainable lives.
The World Premiere of Death Makes Life Possible, present- ed by world-renowned author, Dr. Deepak Chopra and Dr. Marilyn Schlitz, former President of the Institute of Noetic Sciences. This documentary explores questions about the inevitable path we all follow, addressing issues of life, death and what’s next.
A wonderful film, On Meditation that features David Lynch, long-time practitioner of Transcendental Meditation, ex- plores the way different modes of meditation help us navi- gate through life.
Twenty-two films and enlightened speakers will guide the audience, to a new level of awareness and you’ll be able to say “I was at the inaugural event!” Some of the great venues: Mary D. Fisher Theatre, the Creative Life Center and the Se- dona Performing Arts Center.
Check IlluminateFilmFestival.com for precise dates, times and cost of this wonderful new event in Northern Arizona!
