“Gun Sale/Bake Sale,” is Rachel Wilson’s contribution to the show, a mixed media of collaged paper dolls and acrylic paint.
“I am exploring the strange reflective sym- metry that I find between the idea of Bake Sale and Gun Sale,” Ms. Wilson says. “One is home-made, sugary treats to raise money for kid-centered events. The other is high- tech, manufactured, and made to be lethal in a grown-up war. The idea of them coming together in a child’s life is hardly imaginable, yet there they are.”
Guns/Children will remain on display at the Sedona Public Library through June 8. Imagiventure.org
