emotions.
Actress Virginia Brown plays Ida and is
able to capture her character’s hopeful nature when it comes to moving on with life in a very skillful manner. Linda Sutera plays Lucille, and is able to comically as well as charismati- cally show the promiscuous and flamboyant side of her character. Doris, who is played by Laurie Seymour, stands for a symbol of con- tentment that one may feel from the memory of someone who has passed away. These char- acters connect to a whole spectrum of human behavior.
The play is both touching and entertaining and shares many different messages with the audience. The play speaks of friendship but it also shows how life is full of changes and how every individual has their own way of moving through grief.
