Feburary 2015 “Major Gravity”
The first half of February continues the sleepy theme of January. But by the end of the month, things really start to sizzle. If you can hold your horses a little longer, through
the first half of the month, then you will have much univer- sal support behind your intended advance.
March will start the official spring eclipse cycl and often whispers of eclipse-related shifts in direction that start to come in the month before that cycle begins. For many, February will bring such hints of what is to come. Also, Feb- ruary will continue to bring in the rest of the pieces of the stories begun with the autumn 2014 eclipses, with those chapters coming to their conclusions in March & April.
CHECK OUT THE FEBRUARY HIGHLIGHTS:
** Sometimes the effects of planetary transits are felt before or after the actual day that the transit occurs.
February 3 — Full Moon in Leo — Fullness or comple- tion comes to the areas of life including children, creativity, hobbies, and true love. Creativity can include musical, act- ing, & other artistic ventures. It can also include projects involving leadership or just plain fun! Positive aspects to Jupiter bring even more positive potential at this time. Full moons help us to excavate old patterns & bring them to greater levels of coherence. This Jupiter link brings the chance to do this more easily, and with greater outcomes. Jupiter brings fortune & expansion, and when connected to the full moon it can also bring more drama, but the out- comes of which can be more positive than imaginable.
February 6 — Jupiter retrograde in Leo opposing Sun in Aquarius — This is a fantastic opportunity to bring more objectivity to the perspective of our lives. All humans get overly wrapped up in ego sometimes, and this transit brings an opportunity to shift out of the places where this is not serving.
February 11 — Mercury goes direct in Aquarius — While the energy of Mercury retrograde will start to wane from this day forward, Mercury doesn’t get back com- pletely on solid footing until March 3. After around Febru- ary 14, with each day that moves closer to March 3, the energy for communication and transportation will clear more and more. If you have waited to make your new purchases for technological devices or vehicles, including bikes, then the energy becomes clearer for new things in these arenas now. The first half of February is perfect for researching your new purchase, comparing prices, trying out products, asking others about their experiences, or reading reviews. Mercury retrograde always has notice- able effects on devices because of their relationship to communication; and vehicles, because they are used for transportation. When Mercury is retrograde in Aquarius, these effects can become even more pronounced, since Aquarius rules technology. If you don’t already have in- surance on your device, this would be a great time to con- sider adding that coverage.
February 18 — New Moon in Aquarius — The second new moon in Aquarius of the year is also a Supermoon, called such because during this moon cycle it will take the closest approach on its elliptical orbit, making the moon appear much bigger in the sky. When the moon is this close to the earth the gravitational forces can increase by almost 50%, bringing higher tides, and increasing the risk

of flooding. The effects on the human psyche can also be more pronounced.
February 19 — Chinese New Year — The Year of the Wood Sheep — Because the sheep is the lucky number eight in the Chinese Zodiac, and wood is a stabilizing ele- ment, this combination brings great potential for a year of peace and prosperity.
The square-off of Uranus & Pluto, which has been going on since 2012, has its last direct match up in March 2015. The energy freed from the conclusion of this transit cre- ates a match from the Western astrological perspective of the potentials suggested by the Chinese calendar predic- tions of peace & prosperity.
February 19 — Mars moves into Aries — When the planet of activity, assertiveness, and forward movement moves into its native sign Aries, it flourishes, having the hometown advantage. The beginning of spring and the astrological New Year is still a month away but with this transit we start to feel “spring” in the air. Renewed enthu- siasm will abound and more vim and vigor are brought to the physical expressions.
February 20 — Venus moves into Aries — The planet of love & money now joins supercharged Mars in the frisky sign of Aries. Impulse and excitement rule the time.
February 22 — Venus in Aries conjunct Mars in Aries — The best way to describe this pair-up is HOT, for better or
worse. Passions run high at this time.
February 23 — Sun in Pisces Square Saturn in Sagit- tarius — The days around this transit could bring some doses of realism that may feel unwelcome. Inadequacies & feelings of failure may come to the forefront. If criticism comes in at this time, it would be prudent to see what truth there might be behind the sentiment. Being ac- countable at this time can bring great forward movement.
February 24 & 25 — Venus & Mars in Aries Trine Sat- urn in Sagittarius — Usually the nature of meet ups in the sign of Aries would not lend themselves to permanent arrangements, but this trine to Saturn can do just the op- posite. Sometimes the involvement of Saturn can bring delays, but since the trine is a positive angle the likelihood of eventual positive outcomes from arrangements, meet- ings, and agreements made at this time is strong. Another word of caution at this time is this combination in consid- eration with the Sun’s aspect to Saturn, see above; and the Sun’s aspect to Neptune, see more below.
February 25 — Sun in Pisces Conjunct Neptune in Pisces — This aspect can bring hidden things to light, or mask the truth with idealism. Neptune can also cloak in mystery necessary elements of a situation. Because the whole story may not be forthcoming — and also because of the tendency of Aries energy to bring impulsiveness and Saturn’s tendency to bring long-term things — meticulous awareness must precede actions taken at this time.
